Delivered training in four countries to a wide range of candidates from varying educational and cultural backgrounds.
After working as a VSO volunteer for 2 years in Bhutan, conducted a training needs assessment for SNV and prepared training materials before returning to the UK.
Worked as a consultant for a language school in Bournemouth providing MS Office training to professional English language student from Libya, UAE and Taiwan.
Returned to Bhutan and in 1999 set up the first IT training facility in Thimphu, the capital city of the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan, training more than 200 government and NGO staff, traveling throughout the country. During the 3 years also provided application support (Help Desk) to NGOs, including SNV, Helvetas, ACB, GTZ, VSO, VSA and UN and EU projects.
Spent four years at the head quarters of CTA (The Netherlands), an international NGO employing 23 nationalities from Europe, Africa and the Caribbean providing application support (Help Desk). Developed an information sharing platform for planning and progressing, also providing training and application support for the platform.
Spent four years at the head quarters of RECOFTC (Thailand), an international NGO employing Asian and international professionals, providing application support (Help Desk). Also developed, supported and trained staff in a custom built planning, progressing and knowledge management platform.
